Parson Street Primary School is part of Trust in Learning Academies (TiLA).
Having converted to an Academy on 1st November 2012 we joined TiLA (a multi-academy trust) on 1st September 2016. Being part of a trust means that we can decide on our own curriculums, term dates, school hours, and, although we’re still funded by the government, the trust gets to decide how the money is spent.
Being a member of TiLA gives us access to a lot of help and support as a school and allows us to focus on the continued improvement of teaching and learning. Our school governors can also focus upon supporting leaders to improve the classroom experience, rather than having to worry about the operational aspects of running our school, as these are fully supported by the Central Team and network of the Trust.
