At Parson Street Primary, our School Council plays a vital role in ensuring that student voices are heard and acted upon.
Each year, we hold elections where children and staff vote to select our representatives. These dedicated councillors meet regularly with our Assistant Headteacher, Mrs. Pringle, to collaborate on a variety of impactful projects. Their work ranges from creating a child-friendly version of our anti-bullying policy, showcased in the video below, to gathering class feedback on fundraising initiatives.
They have also been instrumental in designing and implementing a whole-school inclusion and welcome display, demonstrating their commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all our students.

This term, the school council have created a video all about how everyone is welcome and everyone belongs at Parson Street. The school council collected ideas from each class in the school about how they are made to feel a valued member of the school, and put these ideas together in this video!
