Wider Curriculum (discrete subjects)

Not all of our subjects within the curriculum are taught as part of an enquiry. Where subjects are taught discretely, subject leads have worked to ensure thorough coverage of the national curriculum and a progression of substantive and disciplinary knowledge as children progress through the school.

Please take a look at the Intent, Implementation and Impact of these subjects below:

RE Curriculum 25-26

We take great pride in the quality of our RE education as we know it provides a great opportunity to teach empathy, understanding and kindness to others and their faiths. It also celebrates the many faiths and beliefs held by our diverse community. We visit many local places of worship including temples, mosques and churches. We really hope that all children take part in our RE education, however, you do have the right to withdraw your child from some of the RE curriculum. Please speak with your child’s class teacher about this in the first instance.
